On New Year's Eve Day, BDHPI sadly said goodbye to one of our foster dogs, Jed the OEM. Jed came into rescue with his love, Ellie Mae, after being dumped at a shelter by divorcing couple. . They both were in bad shape and clearly had been neglected. Poor Jed had a bad heart, and lived longer than we an anticipated.
Jed passed in the arms of his foster mom, Sharla and with his wonderful vet, Dr Greene. We are so thankful for foster homes like Sharla's who choose to open their homes to dogs in need, even if it could possibly end in heartache.
Poor Ellie Mae is very said without her beloved, which just breaks our hearts! Hopefully there is a family out there who will open their home to Ellie and introduce her to a new boyfriend!
